1) What this service is

We provide a free, browser-based cubic yard calculator and reference guide. It supports estimating volumes for multiple shapes (including square/rectangle, circle, triangle, border/annulus, and trapezoid), accepts mixed input units (in, ft, yd, mm, cm, m), and optionally estimates cost using your selected currency and unit. Results update instantly as you type; rounding is for display only while internal math uses full precision.

2) What this service is not

• No professional advice. The site is for general information only and does not provide engineering, construction, landscaping, or purchasing advice.
• Coverage tables and “bags per yard” values are approximations; always confirm with product specifications, density data, and local codes.
• Concrete orders, mixes, densities, moisture, compaction, waste, and site conditions vary. Add your own safety/waste factor.

3) Your responsibilities

• Use the calculator lawfully and responsibly.
• Verify results before ordering materials or making project decisions.
• Do not disrupt, scrape, automate at scale, or reverse engineer the service or its code.

4) Intellectual property

The site’s design, text, illustrations, and code are protected by copyright and other laws. You may reference formulas (e.g., ft² × ft ÷ 27 = yd³) but may not copy significant portions of the site’s content or UI without permission, except as allowed by fair use or applicable law.

5) Optional cost estimates

Cost outputs are purely estimates based on the unit price you enter (per ft³ / yd³ / m³) and your chosen currency symbol. We do not quote or sell materials and are not responsible for pricing errors, taxes, delivery, or supplier terms.

6) No warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that results will be accurate for your specific conditions or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its outputs.

8) Third-party services & links

We may link to third-party websites or use third-party infrastructure (e.g., hosting, analytics). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
